At a loss

I just haven't felt like I've had anything important to talk about. So busy with work and not sewing much. I have tons of ideas but just cant decide or figure out where to start. It will come to me in time. I'm just frustrated with feeling this way.

4 legged guy

So someone dumped this sweet little guy at my brothers!!! Not sure how they can do it and not feel guilty my bro has foxes and coyotes around his house. We have tried to find the owner but no one has come forward. He's potty trained, fixed, leash trained and very well behaved.( he knows what no means) if you know of anyone wanting a dog email me.

I have so much to tell you guys about it was a busy week end and the weather here wth it was 68 here yesterday and sunny!!! Avg is in the 40's this time of year so yup the other half and I got the bike out and I let the wind whip through my hair!!! (now I sound like willow smith oh no)

Winter woolen workshop

So everyone this weekend is the winter woolen workshop it sat from 9-6 and sun 11-5 it is taking place at the sieberling mansion in kokomo , indiana. It's $10 to get in but that covers both days all proceeds go to the historical society. There are going to be tons of vendors selling there goods and supplies, people doing demo's and workshops to take all weekend long. You can bring an unfinished project and just hang out and work on it or if you just need some help with it there will be people who can get you restarted on it if need be. make sure if you show up to come and find me and say hi or take my wool appliqué class I will be teaching on sun. Also atthe bottom of my page is a link to the picturetrail where some of the workshop projects can be seen and go to bethsmnstfolkart.blogspot.com for a list of vendors.
I"m super excited to have the weekend off as this week has been very stressful with work. I hope to see some of you there have a great weekend and stay warm if it's cold in your area.

The valentine blog swap was fun doing. Mine came over the weekend but I didn't open it til the 14th. Here's my goodies that I got from "the bee lady".

My town would never let this happen...

You know sometimes things are just crazy in life...that's how work feels everyday. In my personal time I have all these ideas and things I want to do but work seems to make it's way in and make me feel exhausted (they say stress works that way.) on a happier note I have my samples done for my workshop coming up. I still have some more embellishment I'm going to do on them. The kits will all be different colors too.

Surprise

So I never win anything well at least not that often but about a month ago I won a blog giveaway. I will post on that tomorrow.

I just wanted to check in since it is feb 1st. The super bowl is this weekend and can you believe the other half and I probably won't make it to the village. The news said Bradley Cooper was in town already what a hottie I wouldn't mind running into him and Madonna she would be awesome to met too. Any hoo I hope everyone's enjoying the weather it was lost 60 here and our avg temp is 32. So we have really enjoyed today.

the feature home was awesome i will have to do this probably in more than one post there was so much inspiration and i took 80 pictures!!!

i love this center bar the coloring is off in the pic it was more of a deep aqua.

btw the other half said he was over primitive... but he really liked the show home? i said to him do you know how much primitive there was in that house?! what a knucklehead!!!

have been wanting to do this for awhile (have the paint already)

Green mood

Have you ever put off making a decision and regretted it later? Well I did and I'm mad about it!!! I have this place I go to for thrifty finds and about 2 months ago I went and found this super cute GREEN chair. Well I decided to think about it I have this issue with used furnisher...you never know what it's life was like before you got it (if you know what I mean). So I went back a few wks ltr it was still there and thought what if it smells? Again thinking about it still. Well I went back about 2 wks ago and decided what the heck it's only $5 if I decide it's not for me I'll resale it in the rummage sale. Well you know where this is going it was GONE!!! Stupid me!!!!!!! I can't stop thinking about it and i'm angry with myself I'm so dumb!!! $5 are you kidding me why did I ever question myself? So needless to say it's a hard lesson I've learned I won't do it again. So this post is dedicated to green...

Snowy day

Just last week it was 50 degrees and now it 10 degrees w a wind chill of 5 and we got almost 4 inches of snow!!! Tomorrow the forecast is more snow 4-6 and maybe ice on that depending on where and when the line of weather falls. Crazy weather...

Weather

Crazy weather today 51 and thunderstorms at 8am this morning and by 5pm 30 and snow flurries...wth. We survived the gully washer everyone's yards are flooded. It's been a crazy day.
Off work tomorrow and I hope to get some stitchin and creatin done. My poor brain is on over load. Hope everyone has a great night

Just checking in...work is so much better now I can focus on my life and stuff outside of work.
It's been awhile since I've taught so I'm gearing up for the winter woolen workshop in feb and I'm teachin a class. 2 dif patterns an owl and a bird. Will post picks when I get one done.
My new color right now is gray with just a pop of color. Anything this color I'm lovin.

1/11/12

So I hope this is the down swing. I worked from yesterday afternoon until 2:30 this morning went back in at 4:30 and got off around 2:30 this afternoon. I had inventory it went really good thank god now I just hope my numbers come back good. I slept this afternoon and evening and got up this evening and now I can't sleep. I hate it when this happens. Anyway I hope things at work will calm down I have been having migraines still ( had one this wkend) I finally went to the dr and got meds I just hope they work the first ones didn't.

I have a lot I want to do this year and lots of new ideas, workshops I want to teach and things around the house I want to do. I like my job but I don't love it anymore. It's suffocating my creativity. I'm always working or dealing with work stuff on my day off and I think the migraines are stress related. So I don't know what's gunna happen there...myb a new job not sure I have to work right now so well see. Enough about the heavy stuff I actually was gunna post about the little man. He was missin me this morning from me working so much he woke the other half up barking because he thought. Was n the spare bedroom. So the other half had to get up and let him in that room so we could see u was gone. What a lover boy I wish I could take him and willow to work but I can't.
Well hope everyone's year is starting off good...

Happy 2012 peeps

Hope everyone had a great night last night. I couldn't even stay awake to see the ball drop!!! Wth... not sure why but I was so tired the other half said I was snoring.

New year new beginnings new ideas this is how I feel but it's funny we should feel this way everyday. The only thing different about today is the date. Why is it we all think of today as a fresh start? Everyday we wake up we should feel this way. I do it to I think the first of the year I'll do it but really I could do it any day. Just a random though. But I hope to have some changes this year.
