Winter woolen workshop

So everyone this weekend is the winter woolen workshop it sat from 9-6 and sun 11-5 it is taking place at the sieberling mansion in kokomo , indiana. It's $10 to get in but that covers both days all proceeds go to the historical society. There are going to be tons of vendors selling there goods and supplies, people doing demo's and workshops to take all weekend long. You can bring an unfinished project and just hang out and work on it or if you just need some help with it there will be people who can get you restarted on it if need be. make sure if you show up to come and find me and say hi or take my wool appliqué class I will be teaching on sun. I"m super excited to have the weekend off as this week has been very stressful with work. I hope to see some of you there have a great weekend and stay warm if it's cold in your area.

The valentine blog swap was fun doing. Mine came over the weekend but I didn't open it til the 14th. Here's my goodies that I got from "the bee lady".



I think I've decided to make a pin keep out of the crocheted heart and the buttons I just LOVE them.

My town would never let this happen...

You know sometimes things are just crazy in life...that's how work feels everyday. In my personal time I have all these ideas and things I want to do but work seems to make it's way in and make me feel exhausted (they say stress works that way.) on a happier note I have my samples done for my workshop coming up. I still have some more embellishment I'm going to do on them. The kits will all be different colors too.

Surprise

So I never win anything well at least not that often but about a month ago I won a blog giveaway. I will post on that tomorrow.

I just wanted to check in since it is feb 1st. The super bowl is this weekend and can you believe the other half and I probably won't make it to the village. The news said Bradley Cooper was in town already what a hottie I wouldn't mind running into him and Madonna she would be awesome to met too. Any hoo I hope everyone's enjoying the weather it was lost 60 here and our avg temp is 32. So we have really enjoyed today.
